The Midnight Splash leaves regardless of weather conditions provided there are no thunderstorms present/planned or winds forecast higher than 15 mph sustained and at the discretion of both the organizer and captain! There are adequate accommodations that are covered from rain on the boat so typical showers are not an issue and wind can mostly be avoided by allowing the captain to choose a suitable location with cover for the majority of the trip. If the entire timeframe is expected rain, group organizers are encouraged to inquire for an alternative timeframe or potential cancellation. We care about your experience and will always try to make the best situation possible for your group and always maintain the safety of everyone involved!
Group organizers are encouraged to inquire for an alternative timeframe or potential cancellation as early as possible to allow for potential rebooking. The Midnight Splash cancellation policy is flexible to make sure organizers have flexibility as well, but is not intended to be abused as rebooking these dates with shorter notice is often not a likely option. The majority of groups have a fantastic time regardless of the predicted weather (typically an educated guess at best from our experience) and group organizers should try to represent that whenever possible. There is no penalty for cancellation but abusers may be asked to find an alternative for future needs.
The Midnight Splash provides Adult Life Jackets for everyone 12 and older. For those guests that are under 12 a coast guard approved life jacket will need to be provided by the guest's guardian! An assortment of water toys are provided including individual floats, a lily pad, and large tube but you are welcome to bring additional if you desire!
The Midnight Splash has two levels, the top deck includes various types of seating, a large 16'x20' covered canopy, a slide and areas to jump (while instructed to do so by the captain), and a large speaker for your use. The main level has an outdoor covered front porch with comfortable seating and extra area for coolers, etc. Inside there is a living room with couch and kitchen for food prep and serving with table and chairs, an island with additional seating, and a full size refrigerator for your use. Utensils are provided for grill cooking and serving but additional plates, napkins, and utensils may be required for your needs. There are 2 bathrooms available with flushing toilets for your use with sinks and waste baskets. Bedrooms and shower are not offered to groups for general occupancy use but personal items/bags/clothes may be stored and rooms also utilized for changing. Towels can be provided where necessary but groups are encouraged to bring their own. There is also a covered back deck for grilling, top deck access via spiral staircase, and swimming ladder and water toy accessory access. There is also another stairwell on the front deck leading to the top deck. A large cooler can be made available on request but ice is typically the responsibility of the group if desired.
Of course, the grill is available provided the boat is on anchor and we are happy to help assist! Typically there are additional condiments in the fridge door so bring or use what you need!
There is no included tip/gratuity in the rates listed for the boat. You are welcome to provide a tip to the captain but it is not required!
